Would you like to do some exercise but can’t fit it in? Or would you like to reward your staff?

 

Sore neck and shoulders? Achy lower back? Headache? Well its no wonder, have you moved your body today or have you been sitting still in front of a computer screen?

We all feel like this when we sit at a desk in a fixed position for long periods of time. Our bodies are designed to move, our bodies need to move for our general physical and mental well-being. This becomes very apparent once you start to learn the many different ways that your body can move.

Today more than ever we are looking for a work life balance. In this modern techno world we hardly ever switch off, constantly on and accessible. Musculoskeletal disorders including back pain, are the cause of 50% of sick days in Ireland costing the economy an estimated €750 million each year.  Take a break from yourself, get out of your head and into your body. A Pilates class at lunch, or after work, at your office – such an easy way to do something for yourself and get your body moving.

With the key focus being on stabilising the muscle core, better posture and an improved flexibility are the ultimate outcomes from partaking in a regular Pilates class.
